Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium Grant
Pupil Premium (PP) funding was introduced to help schools to close attainment gaps between disadvantaged students and their peers. It is based on eligibility for Free School Meals. Schools receive £955 for students in Years 7 to 11 if they are registered as eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the last six years. This statement details our school’s use of Pupil Premium funding to help improve the attainment of our disadvantaged students. It outlines our Pupil Premium strategy, how we intend to spend the funding in this academic year and the impact that last year’s spending had.
The Adeyfield Academy is in receipt of £277,459 to support the progress of students eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant, alongside £7,890 Recovery Premium funding.
Furthermore, additional funding is received for any students who have been in the care of the local authority for 1 day or more, or who have left local authority care as a result of adoption, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order. This additional funding is received through the Hertfordshire Virtual School.
If you have any questions regarding eligibility for, or use of the Pupil Premium Funding, please contact Mr G Cook, Pupil Premium Lead via email: Financial Support or by calling 0300 123 4048.
The Pupil Premium Strategy Statement shown at the bottom of this page explains how the school uses its Pupil Premium and Recovery funding and the impact it has had on student outcomes.
