Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths
We recognise the integral nature of STEM learning in preparing students for the modern world and encourage students to be actively involved in STEM learning.
Our curriculum for 2019-2020 includes designated STEM learning at KS3 – drawing on the knowledge and skills acquired in Science, Technology and Maths to succeed in Applied Mathematical and Scientific learning.
There are numerous extra-curricular opportunities in the STEM field as well.
Students can participate in the annual Maths Challenge – a competition pitting our students against students from other schools in solving Maths problems.
We participate annually in the Rotary Engineering Challenge – a wonderful community event attended by most schools in the district.
