Welcome to

The Adeyfield Academy

General Information

At The Adeyfield Academy, your daughter/son will take exams and assessments as necessary so that we can assess their progress internally.

Mock GCSE Exams take place in November and March of  Year 11 before their final public exams in May/June. Sixth Form students will undertake mock examinations in January.

All these exams are taken under formal exam conditions in order to prepare students for the public examinations series.

If you have any queries about exams please contact our Exams Officer.

Arrangements for collecting examination results

A Level - Thursday 15th August

GCSE - Thursday 22nd August

School will be open from 8:30am until 12:00pm on both days for the collection of results. There will be staff available should you need help or advice. If you are not able to collect your results and would like them posted to you, please provide Mrs L Lim (Exams Administrator) with a stamped addressed envelope before the end of the Summer Term.

If someone is collecting results other than the student they must bring a note, signed by the student, giving them permission. Under no circumstances will results be given out over the phone to candidates, family members or friends.

On Results Day, you will be issued with a Provisional Statement of Results. Examination certificates will be in school after 12th November, so you will need to make arrangements to come in and collect them after this date.

Please see the useful attachments below for more information regarding examinations.
