Successful sportspeople have the courage to take on a challenge, are committed, able to work in a team, treat others with dignity and respect, able to follow instructions and are driven to improve themselves. 

These characteristics underpin what we feel an Adeyfield Academy student embodies and expect these characteristics across the whole school. 

During their time at The Adeyfield Academy, all students are actively encouraged to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular sporting activities run throughout the week. 

These include: 

Autumn/Spring - Rugby Union, Netball, Football, Basketball

Summer - Athletics, Rounders, Cricket. 

Alongside our focus sports we also offer opportunities to participate in other sports such as Cross Country, Trampolining, Table Tennis, Badminton, Boccia, Handball and Archery. 

All students are able to take part whether they are competing  against other schools in District or National competitions, competing in Inter-house competitions or simply taking an active approach to their Health & Well-being.

To continue their journey of lifelong learning through sport, we strongly encourage all students who show an interest, to join an out of school club. 

It is here where students can continue to develop their skills in a competitive environment and develop the knowledge and understanding allowing them to live a healthy active lifestyle far beyond their time at The Adeyfield Academy.
