Parent Pit Stop - 18 March, 6pm-7pm
As part of our ongoing welfare and pastoral provision, I would like to invite you to a parent guidance workshop. The evening will run from 6.00pm – 7.00pm on Thursday 18 March 2021 and will be delivered remotely through Google Meets. The focus of the workshop will be on Supporting your child's mental health and wellbeing when returning back to school.
Supporting strategies to reduce anxiety
Spending so much time out of school can make some young people nervous or anxious about returning. We shouldn’t assume that ‘they’ll be alright’. We can share some tips to support you in your child’s return to school which could make the transition from home to school learning a little easier for all involved. Mental health and wellbeing exercises will be covered for you to try yourself or pass onto your child.
The session will be delivered remotely by expert professionals from Hertfordshire County Council and will provide invaluable guidance on how to further support your child and their holistic development.
Further joining details will be sent by email closer to the event time.
If you would like to book a space for this workshop, or you have any questions, please email us at admin@adeyfield.herts.sch.uk with the subject line ‘March Parent Pit Stop’.
